Happy Ramadan. =P

I was just curious, if there were a Muslim that worked a night shift and had to sleep through the day would they have to do their fasting in reverse?

Hi dillon =-D thank you first of all, regarding your Question, No! he can't do it in reverse. He still fast in the day! he can sleep but he should do his prayers on time. The time of fasting from the dawn *al fajir prayer* till the end of the after noon *al maghreb prayer*, It is some thing we can't change whatever the case was. The time of fasting is fixed beacuase all Muslims can feel each other doing the same thing at the same time, and to feel those who have nothing to eat during the whole year not only one month : )

I wish I answered your Question very well :D
